The journey is going to be 4 h 37 min long depending on the road condition as the distance between Hasimara to Thimpu is 165.3 km. During the journey to Thimpu, stop for a while at Phuentsholing to do the Inner Line Permit formalities. After finishing ILP, start your journey again to Thimpu. While traveling, enjoy the magnificent view of surrounding mountains and hilly terrains. After finally reaching Thimpu, check into your hotel and get freshen up. Sightseeing at Thimpu

After spending a wonderful night, have your breakfast and get ready to start exploring the mesmerizing Thimpu. You can start your sightseeing by visiting Memorial Chorten. It is a magnificent architecture built in the memory of the late king Jigme Dorji Wangchuck who was the third king of Bhutan. Situated in the middle of Thimpu, it is the only Chorten which does not preserve any human remains like any other Chortens in Bhutan.

Paro Sightseeing

Wake up early, have breakfast and get ready to explore Paro. You will be taken to Paro Taktsang Monastery, the most attractive monastery in Paro. This is one of the most sacred Buddhist sites and is located at the cliff side. This magnificent monastery is quite famous for offering a scenic view of Paro valley.

Your next destination is the National Museum of Bhutan. Established in 1968, it is a cultural museum which is full of artifacts and has a collection of 3000 Bhutanese art.
